Hi, I’m Taylor O’Neil.

I am a wildlife and landscape painter working primarily in oil on canvas. My subjects range from elephants and big cats to beloved pets, painted with detail and depth to capture more than likeness — to capture presence. My goal is to create art that feels alive, so collectors experience the calm, energy, or character each subject brings. Originals and prints are produced with archival materials, made to be treasured for decades.

  • Currently, I sell unframed originals and prints so collectors can choose the frame that best suits their space. I’m happy to recommend local framers or share tips on archival framing if needed.

  • Originals are one-of-a-kind oil paintings created by hand. Prints are high-quality reproductions made using archival papers, inks, and giclée printing methods, giving you the same color depth and detail at a more accessible price.

  • Keep your piece out of direct sunlight and high humidity. For prints, framing behind UV-protective glass is recommended. Originals are sealed with varnish for protection, but they should still be handled carefully and cleaned only with a dry, soft cloth.

  • Yes — I accept a limited number of commissions each year. Most often these are pet portraits or custom wildlife pieces. Reach out through the Contact page with your idea, and I’ll share timelines and pricing details.

  • I primarily work in oils on canvas for originals. Prints are produced on museum-grade, acid-free paper or canvas with archival inks to ensure rich color and longevity.
